Default Repainting

My bike went down about a month ago and I've got the tribal graphics package...long story short....I've got to repaint the right side of the bike after I fix some cracked/scraped plastic....and I'm planning on removing all the tribal graphics so I just have a black bike. My question: do I need to (or can I even) buy the OEM blach Honda paint from the dealer in order to match the left side which I don't plan on painting? I know next to nothing about painting, but I would imagine that 1 black is not the same as another, so I thought I'd get some advice from guys that have already repainted their bikes. How about the clearcoat? As I said, this question seems somewhat obvious, but any advice you guys can give would be a great help.

I dont remember where to look for it but your bike should have a paint code on it if you give that code to a dealer they should be able to get you the paint if not you can always try a body shop or a place like Sherwin Williams any place where you can can get automotive paints. The paint color is also contained in the VIN # but I dont know which # or letter represents it
