+1 just pull it back a little and pullone side off at a time i always start with the left side then the right.......Cmon dont be p*ssies its not that hard lol

I slid mine rearward and pulled the sides out a little. Came right off with no problems. Getting it on is a little tricky, but not impossible.

If you get frustrated enough, it just comes right off and goes right back on.
