Default Help Removing the rear plastic

I am in the process of installing a Integrated tailight, and I have never worked this bike. This might be a dumb thread but can someone tell me step by step on removing the rear plastic on a 04 CBR 600rr. Thanks for the help.

sart by taking off your seat and rear seat/cowl. there should be about 6 screws. 2 holding the main seat, and 4 under the rear seat/cowl. there is also 2 push pins under the rear secions 1 on eash side right around your rear brake fluid resivoir and another on the opposite side, and 2 more by the gas tank under the seat. after that, use a little force and pull it out. and wa la.

It takes a little courage at first to bend the wings out enough to get the tail off...you'll feel like you're going to break it.

I think the only part that's missing is how to take off your rear cowl.....the keyhole is on the left hand side of the bike under the seat....

it's gonna feel like the plastic wont give....but it will!
