REAR TIRE ???
I didnt like them, so I got rid of them almost right away, so I can help you on the subject. However, Mietzler for make a good M3 tire if you are interested in something else
my 218 is about spent. I have a few hundered miles on the rear left. I would estimate I will get about 4800 miles.
I'm going to try out the Continental Road Attack next. I've only heard good things about them, plus they give you more life.

I am currently at about 5500miles on my stock D208, and it is very much done, not sure what Dunlop the front is but I managed to carve it pretty good it is almost a triangle (it still had a lot of tread down the middle, compared to the rear which is slick).
As choice of tires it all is to your riding stile, I personally thought the Dunlop’s lacked grip. I like to attack the corners and from what I read the two best are the M3 and PP (2ct in particular), according to my research they should be good for about 3500 miles, the M3 slightly more and the PP slightly less. Anyway if your concern is longevity the Dunlop’s should be one of your top choices, I think there is a Metzeler that gets over 5k close to 6 I went with the PP (2ct) in hopes that I will do that 50+ degree lean into a corner. cant really tell you how they are as i am waiting for the snow to melt in Colorado. it might be a while

Ok , so unfortunatley the shop did'nt have a pilot power to suit so I ended up going with the Bridgestone Batlax -D208. Looks good.! Round 2- Let the games begin

I have always ridden Pirellies. On my 636 I had Corsa IIIs and before that Corsas for 2 more sets. Don't expect more than 5k if you commute and ride a lot like I do. I rode Michelins and was not so fond of them. This CBR has newer Dunlop 208s put on by the preivious owner and once I am through with this back to Pirelli. Don't get me wrong people have high praise for Dunlops. However, on my Kawi forum it is agreed either Pirelli, Metzler, or Dunlops. However, you should try other tires to get a feel for what you like. As for me Pirellies all the way.
