when i got my 1000 it came with the first serice free so i took it in,
by the time i got it home the oil light was on
they didnt torque the pan bolt down hard enough

never again

I'm with some of the others here. Do it yourself and document it. I have a buddy that works at a local dealership and if I have any questions that the manual may notmake clear enough for me, I will usually ask him. I know more about my bike this way and I save money as well.
