Default stealership

Brought my bike to the local stealership for inspection, I had just bought it and put a 20 day plate on it, and they lost my bill of sale and my reg...I ask them what they are going to do about it...response there is nothing we can do. made me very angry and now I have to wait for the title before I can register it with a normal plate

That sucks dude, drive the speed limit and don't give anyone a reason to pull you over, you should be ok,, Most cops won't even look twice if your doing everything right when they first see you! But it will suck if something does happen, not being in your name and all,, but may save you registration fee's, lol,, sorry bout your luck man! Be Safe

Ummm...I would have had them take you bike and they give you a new bike since they ****ed up. Don't let them get off easy. Fight. If anything tell them to give you dealer plates until you get the title.

No I bought the bike private sale so I did not buy it from the dealership...and I cant afford to ride illegally because I work in law enforcement and I know I look closely at 20-day plates for the date, and secondally if I get stopped operating without a valid reg i'll either get put on probation or lose my job and I have paid too much for college to have to change careers

The post makes it seem like you bought it at a local dealership. Who lost the registration/BoS?

I bought the bike private sale, brought it to the local stealership to get the state inspection done so I could register it fully rather then a temp 20 day plate....they lost my bill of sale and my 20 reg

Why the hell did they have it in the first place? No reason for them to have access to the bill of sale.
