Default Quick question heat shield, yes or no?

Hey I just installed my slip-on and I was wondering if the heat shield over the s-bend is still necessary? Yes or no, it doesnt seem like a big deal, but just seeing what anyone here thinks.

The stock pipes get flipping hot. The aftermarkets seem to run cooler, but what I would do so you don't melt plastics is to "heat-tape" the underside of your tail. It looks like Aluminum Foil tape, and is heat resistant. One or two layers should do it. Then you can spray paint black over it if you like, but I would just leave it silver so it deflects heat more efficiently.

No. You will be ok running without a heat shield. Congrats on the Slip-on
