Sounds legit, I guess you are gonna have to look at other things though too. I mean how many miles does it have on it. Not that it matters but if its over 12000 you might be looking at a new sprocket, chain, oil, tires. Has he rode it hard? tracked it? stunted constant wheelies? Not that he is going to admit it but there are ways of telling how he has treated it. Look at the forks to see if they are leaking. Look for signs of it being drop or laid down. Be up front with the guy and talk to him in person instead of the phone. There are just a lot of things to look at but if everything checks out then 5000 for a 2006 is about normal.
