Proper wiring?

Proper wiring?
I am currently upgrading my signal lights to LEDs, but evrywhere I've read, the 600RRs (mine is an 07) can't replace the flasher timer/relay to bring the flash rate back down.
I'm debating wether to just let them flash fast or to add resistors to all four corners.
Does the faster flash rate/ lower electrical draw damage the flasher, or is the only consideration to slow the flash rate to pass inspection?
I'm not electrically savy, so I included a diagram on 3 possible ways to wire the resistor, (if I decide to actually wire them in) which is the correct one?

RE: Proper wiring?
I'd sayoption 1 iscorrect. - I believe you need to take it from the + (Flashing) to Ground - so you run it parallel to the light. - At least that's the way my LED taillight said to wire it in. - I think if you put it in line with the light, the voltage going to the LED's would drop, and they would not operate at an acceptable brightness.

RE: Proper wiring?
if i remmber correcty i think its 2 or 3. for leds. i have my in but i dont remmber.
PS u dont have to do all 4 sides..... the left front and back are together. and the right left and back lights are tother too. so its only 2 u have to add not 4.
PS #2 some led turn signals some with them built in so u might want to check first.
