Default Power Commander???

Hey everyone

I have a 2006 CBR 600RR Carbon fiber RS5 Yoshi slip on
-1 tooth in the front sprocket.

Would a power commander be a good investment? Or a waste of money? Will I even notice any power/improvements?

Also I could not find a exact map for what I have for a slip on, onmy bike. So does that tell me right there not to get one? What do you all think?, Any one have one for this setup?

There are no places to get a custom map around here either.

Thanks

I have the same problem except that my bike is a 2005.
Did you find any problems with your bike after installing the RS5 pipe?
It seemed like my bike was misfiring a little bit after riding it for like almost 3 months....it still does..and they said I need to change the spark plugs!!
And they dont have the mapping for yoshimura RS5 slip-on on the website.

It's usually no more than 300 bucks to dyno tune a bike..I would never trust a stock map even it's made for a specific part. Every bike is gonna perform a little different so it's better to get it tuned specifically for your bike IMO

powercommander difference will only be worth it if you get it dyno tuned or you know how to kinda do it by feel but thats hit or miss...

Do you mean sometimes you feel that your Bike is Stronger at that same Speed and same gear BUT sometimes you don't feel the same??? If that's what you meant, then I have the same problem..Like sometimes when i pull in 2nd gear and the power seems to lack a bit but sometimes it pulls pretty powerful..I thought it might be the bike needs to be warmed up for a while of riding then the power will adjust itself..I've been payting attention to it and it's the same...I think i'm gonna invest in a PC this summer...just for the heck of a diff power and don't feel left out ...but i'll definately get it Tuned by professionals though. Anyways, let me know if that's the problem you have as well.
