PLEASE HELP!! 600rr stalling
I was adjusting my idle rpm the other day by twisting the idle adjustor cable and it came off. Now the bike idles at around 700rpm and stall whenever it is revved. What is involved in getting this cable back in its proper location. I believe it connects to the throttle body.

Why were you adjusting it in the first place if I may ask?
As i'm aware the '07s did away with any manual idle speedadjustments. At idle speed, the '07 - '08 bikesuse the ECM tocontrol the IACV which gets information from the ECT to maintain correct idle speed during warm up. When the throttle is opened or the ClutchLever is released while in gear, the IACVslides close. The only adjustment that can be made is in throttle cable free play(which you can adjust the amount of free play, both on the upper side of the throttle cable and lower side near the throttle body).
You will need to check/set your throttle cable freeplay. This should help with your idle problem. What ever you do... DON'T snap the throttle valve full open to full close while throttle cable is removed. This can cause incorrect idle operation.
Here's a picture of how the throttle cables attach to the throttle drum.
Directions on how to check your throttle free play and make adjustments.
If adjusting your throttle cable back to proper settings does not correct your problem... you might have a faulty IACV.
