Default Old CBR owner, new RR owner

New to this forum and my CP says I last posted 2012... and so happens i bought a new to me, 2012 600 RR track only

Got it out to track day and crashed first session... shifted in wrong spot... tires didn't like it... and down i went... so picked up the pieces and all good, minor low speed low side

And past weekend took out for spin and bike went to redline unintentionally. Did a search and couldn't find anyone with similar experience.

I pulled out again, warmed up, idled perfect. About to take off and twisted the throttle to 7-8,000 rpms and let go of throttle then kept revving up to redline and held there for about a full second then backed off. Anyone have same experience and can point in the right direction to properly fix?

Will post some pics of my miami blue CBR (pre and post) low sider... btw, i went down on the left side and slide off track and into some dirt. snapped off the clip on. bent the shifter and caused the wire going into the engine (crank sensor) to pull out and created oil leak. end of the track day for me. lucky i went with buddy and we took his R6 out in different sessions.
