Default Oil question

I just did my first oil change on my 06 CBR600RR. I accidently put in too much oil. I used the whole gallon of Motul 3000 10w40. I went home and looked in my owners manual and realized It only needed 3.1 quarts instead of the 4 quarts that I put in. I thought the engine took 4.1 quarts. Should I drain some oil out or will it be fine?

drain some. When you do dont open the plug up all the way or else you might drain to much. Just drain some check drain some check. Make sure you drain pan is clean in case you drain too much that way you can put it back in as needed. If you dont drain it you will cause biger probles for yourself. It will blow past your rings cause oil flooding which makes it harder for the crank to turn which will take away power. It will stress you gaskets as well. Drain it dude.
