The honda manual says to change oil every 8,000 miles - is the not correct? Should it be done every 3 or 4k?

K&N website says they dont have a oil filter for the cbr600...just the 1000. How odd.

When I got my filter at the shop I asked about the K&N since it's supposed to be easier to get on and off because it just uses a bolt that a normal socket wrench can fit on. But he said that they stopped selling them because there was some kind of problem. Who knows, I just got the one from honda and its fine.

No I dont think they do, but I took mine off by hand when it was loose so I cant say 100 percent. I didn't really have a problem doing it that way but the magnetic bolt sounds like a good idea.

I hope you do more research than just taking the word of the company that produces both the product and the review of the product... you do... right?
