I'm not the one hitting those twisties at those speeds. Ask the guys ahead of me, the ones that I can't catch because they are always knee scraping around bends with their expensive V. Rossi $2000 custom made leather racing suits. Believe me if I could hit those turns the way they do, man o man it would be a great day.

This is Canada by the way so when I say 130, that is in what we call kilometres. So I think 130km is like what 80 miles an hour or so. Relax buddy as good as you may think you are around the bends, there is always someone else faster than you, that can make you look like an amateur. Get over it.

Thats right, I'm the CBR hunk, I just hit a homer, and here is my slam dunk. I'm pretty nifty around the twisty, thats right ****zy.

Put da cute lady on da back seatie, then tried to cop a feelie while I popped a wheelie. I'm the real deal G.

Okay guys thanks for the responses, you guys are good sports. I was just messing with ya, you know trying to have some fun and all. I have to get to work, with my riding it will take what 5 minutes. Take care, it was a splice.

the only way to correct the A:F ratio is to add or subtract gasoline. Octane will not make one iota of change.

hahahahh...sooooo funny....you guys are awesome...hahhahahhaa...

so now what's the verdict? your tuner made your bike near lean because that's where max power is...at the leaner side, when all fuel is burned.

If you have a power commander and you're running lean then add gas. That's what a dyno tuner is supposed to do. But if you're numbers are 13.1 to 13.3 then that's optimal -- not lean. Sure, it's leaner than a car. But a car engine is doing a helluva lot more pulling than your bike and is designed much differently.

So there's no need for extra octane unless you are experiencing detonation. Period.

And I'll add that your buddies are making an ad exec for the oil companies panties wet right now. Congrats!!!! You've bought into the idea that more expensive, higher octane burns cleaner and produces more power. Truth is it does nothing extra if you don't need it. QuickTrip puts the same detergents in all it's gas and so do other companies so you're not getting anything better in those regards either.

In the end it's up to you to pay for your bike and what you put in it. I couldn't give a rat's *** either way. But don't go around smoking up the issue for everyone else. If you have a question ask it -- but you didn't find a lost testament in the holy land ... just a sticker on a Honda. It's not breaking news ... nothing to see here. Everybody go home.

Now let's all play nice
