New Owner!
Proud new owner of an '07 CBR 600RR!
First question.... What company makes frame sliders that do not require cutting? Also, I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on flush mount front blinkers since the stock ones are so HUGE! I've looked at a few but they seem cheap and i've also heard lots of complaints about them not working. Any input is good!

1st off, Welcome...
Im pretty new 2 the bike world myself, but as far as ii kno SHOGUNSmake a set that doesnt require cutting...youll c quickly dat
mostly every1 is going to tell u to search thru the posts as will ii....
youll find alot of info searching...ill try n get da post for u dat had every1 talking about sliders
based off ofsearching n reading on hereit seems as if cutting may prove to b better than a no-cut for a couple of reason based off of what alot of other ppl say...but jus do ur own resarch in terms of which is better if ur not already knowledgable and or made up ur mind already...
as for the blinkers dunno much about it..

Welcome to the forum!
1) Avoid metal frame sliders. They can catch the pavement during a spill and cause the bike to flip and they do not provide adequate energy absorption in a crash (ex. solid steel oraluminum materialsshould be avoided)
2) Avoid the no-cut frame sliders. In a crash, depending on the degree of theoffsetbracket, increased torque stresseswill beput onto the frame mounting points. Companies that make these have to find a good balance for when the bracket shouldand shouldn't break. In a standstill fallover these can do the job ... but under any type of lowside/highside these are frown upon by serious riders.
But this is only my view on No-cuts.
For flushmounts checkout ..... Protons and Rizoma's

RE: New Owner!
I would never recommend no cut sliders and cutting really isn't as hard as you think. It's actually pretty easy if you use a sound method and take your time, and even then it's less than an hour job. As far as brand goes, I like the Motovation sliders, but everybody has their preferences. As previously stated, avoid metal, but if you're going for no-cuts then it's pretty much for show anyway so who cares.
As for signals, there's plenty out there. The most popular I see seem to be the Hotbodies flushmounts, but I personally went with the Gregg's Customs and they look amazing on my bike...don't have pictures available at the moment though. Look around and see what works best for you.

Thanks for all the input! ....ya, I understand that the sliders you need to cut for would be the better choice... it's just my nightmare that I will cut out the perfect hole and then go to put the faring back on..... and it doesn't line upwith the slider! aah!! lol! So, anyone got some pics of their flush mounts???
