thos aren't actually HID bulbs. They are halogen bulbs (probably with colored glass/lens to make the color of the light output similar to HID). The problem with this is that the colored lens/glass actually reduces the amount of light output and therefore hurts your night-time vision. The only advantage to using bulbs with colored glass is for cosmetic purposes. They may look cool, but they are not actually brighter than your stock bulbs (though the whiter/bluer light output may make it appear so).
If you want real HID performance then you need to get a real HID kit. Otherwise, if you are just going with halogen replacement bulbs, your best bet is to get the European branded Osram Silverstar bulbs (not available in U.S., only available for purchase online), Narva RangePower +30 and +50, GE Night Hawk, or Philips Vision Plus.
