new 04 cbr 600rr height is too high.... help
is there any chance that the 2004, cbr 600rr can be lowered ? im tippy toeing.
also recently i dropped my bike on a turn, and i seem to have broken the right handle bar END.
and the brake leveler seems to have shifted down. (i have to reach over a little more to reach the brake leveler)
any info would be great. thanks again.

the whole front brake master cylinder/lever assembly should be attached to the bar itself with a clamp that uses two small bolts, just loosen those a little, rotate it back to where you like it and tighten the bolts
as for the height thing, I'd personally shoot myself in the foot before lowering my bike but thats me
most riders jut learn to live with it, I'm about 5'7" and have a similar problem with my RR (and F4i but the rear end is raised a little)
I dropped it not long after I got it, but since then I haven't had any close calls, really tiptoeing it is fine, a LOT of people do that every single day and never drop their bikes
if you must lower it, I'd try shaving the seat a little first

Lowering it will mess up the suspension and handling. There's nothing wrong with tippy-toeing, and in any case they teach you to put just one foot down anyways so you can cover the rear brake.
If you must though, you can put in lowering links. Not sure how that works, but if you do a search you'll find a bunch of posts about lowering a bike - along with majority of people telling you why not to do it.

I agree with woody and dragonium......I wouldn't lower it. Too many horror stories and too many facts to back up the negative effects it has towards the handling. The 600RR is a very tall-seated bike, and all the magazines and reviews about them note it. I would just put up with it. Tippy-toe is better than messing up the handling characteristics of the bike. Best thing to do is lean the bike onto one foot, (like the MSF course teaches, so you can cover rear brake, as dragonium mentioned).

I know im going to get flack over this but im 5'3 and I HAD to lower my F3. I used a lowering link and did 3 inches in the back and 1.5 in the front and I love the difference!! The extra confidence it gave me was so amazing it was worth losing some lean angle....If your hard on the bike just do the one inch lowering and that might be enough.. I took my bike to the local Honda dealer and had there service manager ride my bike and he said it handled just like stock just that his knee's were bent alot and a stop..
Hope this helps I would just lower as least as possible and have fun.........

you could try this as an easy fix which is what i did
soften the suspension a little so when you sit on the bike it lowers its self but dont adjust the rebound
the bike stays at the correct height while riding and lowers when sitting at the lights
works great for me
