Right vs. Left turns...
Brain Dominance...
Remember that the left side of your brain is the logical side (and controls the right side of your body) and the right side is the artistic side (and controls the left side of your body).
When I was racing street bicycles, I was having a harder time (during fast winding descents) with right turns than with left. It was explained to me, by my coach, that humans always turn better to the left because the imaginitive, artisitc right side of the brain is working that maneuver better, smoother, faster.
Made sense to me.
I don't think it has anything to do with the machine, but with our "wiring".

My insurance on an 07 is about 400/year. I'm 23 and had one speeding ticket about 3 years ago (60 in a 50). This is for liability and comprehensive (stolen, fire, storm damage, vandalism, 250 dollar deductible). How old are you guys, is mine just higher because im young?? If I added collison it would be another 800 or so per year and the deductible would be 1000 for that. I dont know, its A LOT better than progressive and geico quoted me at. I have Allstate. I know this has a lot to do with your zip code too, so this might be a hard answer for anything talking insurance.

As far as the right/left turning goes, I've never thought about the difference... I hope I dont think about it too much now

dont worry about the leaning thing itll come. this is my first season. and b4 i had my 1st set of tires replaced. both sides had no chicken strips... youll get it. just dont push yourself and try to drag the knee and what not. i used to have more trouble with left hand turns... and than i realized that i wasnt haveing trouble its just i had no left turns around that made me lean as far as the right. that might be your problem.

leaning and taking tight right/left turns all takes practice and lots of practice. hit some nice curvy roads, preferably with light traffic, no guardrails, and no drop-offs. get comfortable leaning and turning the bike using counter-steering and proper body position. its also good to go with a knowledgable riding buddy and let him lead so u can see how he leans off the bike during tight turns. so go out there and practice leaning! don't be skerrrd! as far as insurance, its good to have it... if you have it.off course it differs in every state. i will be first to admit that during my first year of riding i didn't have insurance as its not required in FL. i figured if i crash the bike its coming outta my pocket anyway. i'm covered with my health insurance for injuries and LJ in case its stolen. but hopefully i'll avoid going down.

Huh. . .interesting. . .
For me, I figured it had to do with throttle control/countersteering into right hand corners affecting my coordination, but Bell407 might have something. . .

That sounds like a bunch of pysco bable to me. Half of the things that I have heard in regard to right and left brain are usually BS.

I like turning/leaning right but right turns on street are more akward because its enherently a tighter turn because you are not going all the way across the intersection.
