There's some video I've seen where they show a whole bunch of those big commercial jets landing in high winds. Some of them are literally 45* or more off center. I need to find that video. I think the second one is better.

Nice vid. Not being a Physics major I'm surprised how much cross-winds can throw those jumbo jets off-course. Maybe I'll think twice about flying into New Zealand.
