Looking for some RR'ers to help out...66 Cafe Race Project
Hi all, I don't really belong here so bear with me.. I'm building a 1966 Honda CB450 Cafe Race bike and I've decided to run a CBR front end. The inverted forks will make a huge difference with weight transfer while road racing. Not to mention the cool factor!
I can mill down the spike to fit and tig it with a spacer if too short (not sure exact length yet) my only problem lies in the wheel...
I want to keep the vintage look of the bike so I'm trying to locate a company that can build me a custom front wheel with the dual discs that's spoked to keep the classic look. Can anyone recommend a good source for this?
Also, is $850 for a complete front end minus the wheel with 2300 miles a good price? Off a 07 RR600
Many thanks and I appreciate the space..
Kind regards,
JM

$850 seems a little steep. if you're not pressed for time wait to see if you can find a better deal. also, the spoked wheels will probably cost a fortune, just go with some simple mags, i don't think it will take away from the vintage theme that much. just think of it as an upgrade.
