he says right in the ad that he will go lower. even he knows it's a little high. on my side of the country, that would be in the ballpark depending on the miles. my neighbor wants to sell hers thats perfect with 1500mi on it for about that. your side of the country, in winter and a bad economy, may not sell for that.

 

I always say that the value of something is worth what the seller thinks it is worth and the buyer thinks it is worth. If the seller thinks it is worth $6200 and buyer thinks it's worth $6200 then it is. If he gets no bites then it's not. Now I would never pay that amount but that is just me. I paid $5200 for my 07 with 2600 miles on it well over a year ago. But I don't want to tell someone how to list their bike or what it is worth.

 

He tried to sell it in the summer for AT LEAST $7K and nobody said anything and he decided to keep it. He won't go lower than $6K and he doesn't want to sell it for $6,200 but times are hard.

 

Depending on the miles, that is an avergae price around here for a used bike. I bought my 09 new cheaper than I could find a used one for. Deosn't make sense to me other than maybe they still owe that much on the bike.

 

Whats the mileage?
