Well, mine says 92, so I dont know if you are in Cali and its different (I am not sure why ours say diiferent). Anyways, and NOTICE yours also say sor HIGHER. MEaning you can use premium. And also, if you turn the page (96 incase you didnt know) , it says "Use of lower octane gasoline can cause persistent pinging or knocking." Why not be proactive and prevent anythinglike that happening for an whopping extra .28 CENTS!?!?!? Its not bullchit, is called being proavitve. Using premium isnt going to hurt you bike, but using lower octane can. But you do what you want. Put oil in there for all I care cause all BlueFox and Myself is bullcrap and makes no sense ... right?

BTW- pennies add up over time. My .02, which will be .04 next week!
DM2, it means lower that recommend and mine book says 86+.
I'll try the jet fuel next week!

Waste your money any way you want, but I've been doing just fine since 2003 (and longer) on 87 octane...no pings or knocks and I bet my bike is faster than a lot of people on this board
