I am not home right now so I can’t look up exactly what I paid but here is the list. After roughly estimating the cost you can see it is real close or maybe just over $2000 in mods. I did a lot of shopping to find the lowest prices. I said $11K because I bought the bike for $9K OTD. At the time, May 2005, there was no way I was going to get a 05 CBR600RR cheaper locally and that was before I learned about Southern Powersports in TN. That is the place where you can buy them for close to $7500 OTD but then you have to pay tax in your home state, still about a $1000 savings. If I buy a 06 1000RR I am definitely taking a couple of days and buy it there. They have them listed for $9683, add $20 and that is their OTD price.

You mean 05 REPSOL for me to ride? If so I like the paint/sticker scheme of the Repsol but I like the regular paint designs better. Not to mention the dealers wanting more money for them when the only difference is paint color and stickers. Also if I am getting a new liter bike why not an 06?
