Installing Flush Mount Blinkers

Installing Flush Mount Blinkers
I ordered a pair of flush mount blinkers off of ebay and plugged them into blinker clip on the bike and neither side will work. I am wondering if I can lose the connectors and just directly connect the wires. The blinkers have two wires (power and ground). The bike has three wires going into the plastic clip. Please let me know if I can just solder the wires together to make the blinkers work.

1. Are they LED's?
2. Are the rear signals LED's too?
3. Have you wired in resistors?
4. Did you connect the correct wires (there's 3 wires. One for ground, one for the running lights, one for the actual signal. You will ONLY be using the ground and the signal wire. Unless you purchase running light modulators to convert from the 3 wire to 2 wire.)

yes you can just hard wire them. i wired mine to stay on when running. u may want them for the signal. u can wire them for both by using both wires together, but this will affect the front and back signals and the indicators in the dash will stay lit. I did this at first but didn't like it.

RE: Installing Flush Mount Blinkers
Thank you for the respones. The flushmounts are LEDs. The rear signal is integrated into the taillight. I am not sure if the previous owner wired in resistors. I am thinking that I want them to be both running lights and blinkers. Where would I buy the running light modulators that could make this happen?
