Default I'm very curious to know why...

...did you pick the CBR600RR as opposed to the 1000RR?? (Please don't respond if it is because it's your first bike or the insurance was lower) Did you have the option to pick the 1000RR instead? Was there something extraordinary about the 600 that made you purchase it as opposed to the 1000? I'm hearing all different reasons for the 600 pick and am curious as to your response as this is exclusively a 600RR thread![sm=feedback.gif] This is weird...I'm looking at all the hits to my post but not one friggin' reply....This really has to be the slowest site I've ever experienced![:@] C'mon guys, Use your noggin's and figure out why you purchased the 600!

well i am going to reply because you wanted someone to and the reason is because it is my first bike and i didn't go with the f4i because i don't want to grow out of a bike i have heard that the 600rr is a bike for everyone even some experienced riders are down sizing to the 600 from bigger bikes. well its not really what you wnted but it the reason i got mine.

I ride the 600 because it was more practical for me and my riding style. If you look at the stats the 1000 is faster in top end look at the ¼ mile times 1000 does not win by much. I am a 100 MPH and below rider I seek out corners not straight a ways and 7800 vs. 9500 was a big factor when I knew I would not be doing anything different on the 1000 as I would be on the 600. Besides it’s awesome to smoke these fools that think because you’re on a 600 they can blow you away. For the heck of it I messed around and if the 600 RR was a normal 3200 lb car it would have 1200 HP to match the power to weight ratio. That’s plenty for me

I picked up da 6 cuz it was gonna be my first bike. I was gonna get a 954 but EVERYONE told to get a 600 first cuz da 1000's would be too much bike fer me. Insurance is still a Beootch though so that had no sway on thangs.
