Default I just figured something out....

subconsciously. After having my bike for over 4 years now, I have stumbled across something. I always turn my steering to the left when I get off the bike, and turn the ignition to "lock." Well, I just went to Lowes to get some sandpaper and where I parked at was on a steep grade so I turned the steering to the right to get the bike to stand up straight more. I normally just turn the ignition to off when I turn the steering to the right, but for some reason I turned the ignition all the way to "lock" and it actually locked the steering.

Before today I only thought you could lock your steering when it was turned to the left, I guess I was wrong. werd.

It locks both ways on my 06 600rr. It also locked both ways on my 04 600 f4i. I thought that was a common feature in all bikes.

Neat feature, but the bike is less stable with the wheel pointing right. You'd need a pretty unique parking spot like Volcom had to make use of it.
