How to find engine number on 04 CBR600RR? Please help!
Just bought a 04 CBR600 RR and it is salvaged and im trying to avoid going to CHP for engine number verification. Im trying to locate it on my bike. I called a bike shop and asked for help. They said it would be located in front of the rear wheel. I looked and didnt see anything. Please HELP!

Numbers
I am assuming that the locations are the same on an 04 as they are on an 03.
The only user manual I could find was one in French but the picture below should give you what you need.
According to the shop manual, "the engine serial number is stamped on the lower side of the lower crankcase"
