Hello fellow CBR owners!

I just picked up my bike about a week ago and have to register it at local AAA.

They asked me to make sure they could identify the VIN (on the handlebars / forks), the Emissions number and the Engine Number.

Does anyone know where the Emissions number and / or Engine number is at? AAA needs to verify this before they can register the bike and let me be a CBR RIDER!

If I have to take all the fairings off and leave them at home please let me know.

 

I think the engine number is going to be on the right side of the engine. You may have to take off the side fairing but might be able to see it by removing the inspection cover. I don't know much about the emissions junk but I'd of thought that that would be on the same plate as the vin on the steering head of the frame. If not I believe there is some more information on a sticker on the rear subframe, so take off the two rear side fairings and look there for inspiration.
