Default license plate placement on 03 cbr600

hey everybody.. i bought a 03 cbr600rr recently and whenever i ride the back tire hits the plate. i cant find any other place to mount it because the pipe is under the seat.. any ideas.?

Default mounting

check on ebay i bought a plate holder that hooks onto ur swing arm by the chain, Licence plate bracket. i bought one it doesnt look like much but it works great it only ran me maybe 20 bucks.... happy shopping

imade one for my wifes bike that is just a peice of sheetmetal bent to go behind the rear peg bolts and just under the pipe. then it was trimmed and bent again to accept the plate. spray paint it black it can barley be seen

ral easy to do i dont have any pics and im not at the house to take them....
just start with a peice about 3 inches longer than the mesurement from peg mount to peg mount bend the 1.5 inches up and drill some holes into the tabs. i just used one bolt hole its easier than using both

I have one of those and I love it.. Gives it a different look compared to other peoples bikes.

as soon aas this snow is gone ima take my bike out of storage n take some more pics for my before n after photos... yay i cant wait..

I have an 03 600rr and I took an L bracket and screwed it to the license plate and then I loosen the upper exhaust bracet then I slid the top of the L bracket between the exhaust and the upper bracket and tightened it up. It stays in place fine and is well out of the way.
