Default HID Question

hey im going to get a honda 600rr soon and when i get it i want HID's on it im really like the purple/ pink H.I.D's oh yeah its going to be on a red/black 07 or 08 600rr. I think these lights stand out soo much plus they protect ur safety from motorist theres no reason for ne one to say to you i didnt see the guy on the motorcycle also i dont think i will get pulled over with these because its for my safety. Can anyone give me some advice on this topic??

Default RE: HID Question

^^ First off, the really purple/pink HID's are around the color temperature of 20000k, which outputs LESS light than the 5000 or 6000k HID bulbs. The 5 or 6k HID's appear as a bright white/blue from a distance, but bright white on the road.......much like that of a Merc, BMW or Audi with HID's. The 20000k bulbs will output a pinkish light onto the road surface, making them illegal, and unsafe for you (because it's a dull purple light versus a bright white light).

So, I would stick with the 5000 or 6000k color temperature (they're still blue-ish in appearance, but white on the road). They're bright enough that you won't have to worry about people not seeing you (unless they're a dumbass pizza delivery guy that pulls out into oncoming traffic.)

If you need help with HID's, I wrote up a decent write up of HID's..............
