Ive got a joe rocket mesh with all the padding u could need! Its real cool in the summer and keeps u warm in the winter. it too has a removeable liner. Is 100 degrees all the time in southern alabama and i think its just as cool as no jacket.

I rock this jacket. Been down 2 times and it held up fine. Minor get offs, but its still wears like it should with no visible damage to the the protectors involved.

The light cammo one is really nice though. If I ever buy again it's a perforated leather with zipvents for me.

I have that leather Shift jacket (the light gray camo one) that is displayed a few posts up. Freaking sweet! Motorcycle-Superstore has them for 129.99 and they used to be 379.99. GET IT! But make sure you go a size bigger than you normally wear. They fit tighter than most jackets. I have a 38 chest size, so I went with a Medium.

I thought mesh would hold up well too. I mean that's what they design and sell it for, right? By coincidence, I walked into one of my classes and ran into a buddy that just bought a ZX636 and the same blue Joe Rocket Alter Ego II jacket I have (on the hanger where it belongs). He was leaving from class one night and a truck in front of him at the light decided to turn right instead of going straight at the last minute. Being a new rider he locked up the front brakes and the bike slide out from under him. He did the little ninja roll (that's funny cause he was on a ninja... sorry, I crack myself up) and when it was all over, his right shoulder was visible. Tore right through the padding on the upper arm, not ripped at the seem or anything.

I now wear a bright white icon motor head. If I can get over my homophobic nature, I'd have leather pants too.
