does the cbr600 rr not have a helmet holder place on the bike

should be a cable and hook under the back seat.

If you bought the bike new, that cable that came with you manual and everything wraps around the chin strap and the other ends clip around the metal bracket the back seat goes into.

Found the cable for the helmet inside the tool bag which will be hooked in the d-ring under the back seat.
