Default Headlights and horn won’t come on!

I have a 2006 CBR600rr and the previous one had installed HID headlights in it. The headlights aren’t coming on now and the horn also is not working. However the turn signals and brake lights do come on like they should. I bought oem lights and replaces my fuses to see if that was the issue but still they wouldn’t turn on. After messing with the wiring a little bit, I got the headlights to come on but only when I pressed the horn. After asking around, I think it could be a bad relay. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I don’t want to spend a arm and a leg to take it to a shop if I can do it myself.

I'd be looking at the switches and the wiring to them. The fact that they are cross functioning and happen to be in the same loom is suspicious.

To another point, I'm all for fixing things yourself and saving money. However, sometimes there are things in life that require attention that is beyond one's level of expertise. I've seen too many times where someone spends more time (time has value as well) and wastes more money by throwing parts or materials at a project than if they would have just gone with the professional in the first place.

Thank you. I scheduled a spot with my local shop. It’s probably safer I let them deal with the wiring.
