Default Good jack to work on bike

I am looking at taking my wheels off my bike for powered coat. what is a good jack to use to work on the bike also anyone know a good place to get them i live in cali. Also does anyone live in So Cal that would like to help me take my bike apart. let me know

would stands not work for you. My rear stand is designed to allow the rear wheel to be removed. I'm sure the front ones work the same.

Jacks won't work on our bikes, they'll crush the manifold...just use front and rear stands...you can use the fork lift type for the front if you just plan on taking off the wheel, but if you plan on removing your forks get the type that lifts from the steering stem.

I'm starting to sound like a salesman for the sponsors... but I've looked around and they do have some of the best deals.

Check out these stands. I'm not sure if the front one will support removing the wheel, I just emailed them and asked, so I’ll post it up when they reply. You get both front and rear stands for $100 and the rear spools for $25. I paid about $125 for my rear stand alone and they look the same, four caster wheels instead of two, much more stable.... remember wider is better, as long as we're not talking about women.
