the bikes are expensive in your area. either buy it outside the city or state or just buy it as is.
if it what you really want, then i dont think the few hundred bucks difference should matter if you expect to receive a long lasting pleasure. < this applies to a lot of things of couse

well. i got approved and everything for my loan, everything ready to go. and BAM bo ride or any way to get the bike back home. totally sucks right now. i drive a car. and aint no way i can throw it in the back =[ im really dissapointed right now.

in case anybody is interested in knowing, i just got back from Whittier honda kawa seadoo fun center in CA, and they said that the new 2008 models won't be coming out until jan-mar 2008. will not be many changes, most of the changes were made on the 2007. so i guess must-ang you'll have most all the bells and whistles for a few years =)

i had to replace my front tire, paid $160 parts + labor.

yeah, what a coincidence. i was there at 1000 to drop off my bike, then picked it up at about 2pm. if you still need a ride you can always take a taxi. it may be a waste of money, but it's an option. i've taken taxi's to the airport and stuff, not very reliable, but there's alot of taxi services in socal.
