has anyone had a problem with the bike slipping out of gear?

it has happend to me 3 or 4 times now. when i shift up into 6th gear it will slip out and rev up then fall into 5th gear.

 

No... never happen to me.

 

I have never missed a gear...are you clutching it? 5 and 6 are close to each other

 

the first thing i would do is check to see if you have any loose linkage in the shifter. make sure it is adjusted as the manual states or it will not go all the way into 6th gear.shift it by hand to see if the L clamp on the linkage is hitting anything.

 

That could be dangerous if you aren't expecting it, revving high then all the sudden slamming into gear.[:'(]
