Default Gears

So when i shift it is not smooth and you here a caclink. I use the clutch and i am teling you this is louder then normal. When i get to gear 4 and 5 its alot smoother but the lower gears are not shifting to smooth. I have rode many other bikes and mine is the worst. The bike does not feel bad or react bad its just a loud shift. What is the problem. I own a 2006 cbr 600 and use amzoil synthetic which i am told is awsome oil. Do I try a differnt oil or what are some suggestions. Anything will help please.

Honda gearboxes are clunky by design..long throws and ka-klunk on shifts! Fresh oil will always help. I have noticed when my 01 F4i heats up, the shifts seem a tad less noisey...but the fact still remains..Honda gearboxes are cluinky by design...rock solid...just clunky

They usually shift a little smoother at higher rpms, like 8k is good. Atleast that's what i remember.

Thanks for the responses guys. I rode my buddies bike 06 cbr same as mine and his was alot smoother. He also blew his 3rd gear doing burnouts and had it all replaced by a shop. This possibly could be why it was so much smoother then mine.

Well anyways is there anything i can do to make it better?
