Default RE: Gas Mileage

to be honest, i don't give a SHIZT what Honda says, there is no mechinisum or feature inside the gas tank that WITHOLDS any amount of fuel for reservation. as such, there is no RESERVE, only a low fuel level warning. if there was a reserve, there'd be two fuel pick ups or a seperate fuel cell. i ain't seein' one... joo?

I do a lot of riding with my parents. They're cautious, slow, cruiser riders. I did a 7 hour trip (including all stops) and I averaged 52 MPG when I ran out of gas...bone dry

I never noticed that thing blinking...

Default RE: Gas Mileage

Picked up 07 RR last week. Put in third tank of gas this evening. Got 130 miles on 3.7 gals, so about 35.1 mpg, I have been flogging her pretty good.

In honor of JC Shavers I backed-it-in turning off van ness today. Pretty easy on new tires, don't think it will be easy when they are scrubbed-in without serious finesse with the front brake to get the weight forward. My tires still have the lines drawn on them.

But 35.1 isn't bad I thought. If you ride like a elderly fella you should be able to get 38-40. But, why the hell would you do that to yourself when it's so easy to twissssssst.

fun fun.
