Default need help...bike wont do nothing.

I recently ran down the battery and had someone jumpstart my bike. When we hooked it up to the bike it started n i reved it and then everything just shut off. I still had the jumpers hooked to my battery when i reved it.. So i replaced the battery and now it wont do anything. The lights wont even light up at the dash and i havent taken it apart yet but it looks like something got melted under the seat. Any suggestiong on what it might be. Im pretty sure something electrical but i dont even know where to start at, dont know much as far as electrical. But im going to start on taking it apart tonight. HELP PLEASE!!!

What you jump it with, a car? If so, you most likely fried your harness/wiring or even schocked your ecu

If the car was running you may have spiked the ecu, but check all the fuzes first. You probably blew one of the mains.

If jumping off a car battery, use JUST the battery! Don't have the car running! Too many amps being pushed for a bike system!
