hp gains are not the only reason to do a full system. when i did my full micron i lost over 20lbs . that translate a lot into how the bike handles and feels

Phil I do agree with you that going with a full system will save some weight which will in turn lead to better performance. However I feel that the cost of saving that weight would only be beneficial if you're going to use the bike out on the track. If you're just riding out on the street I doubt you will really notice much of a difference besides in your wallet. But that is just me.

I used VHT Extreme Hi-Temp Black on my headers, and I painted them while they were still on the bike. I just used newspapers to mask overspray areas.

Turned out great, nice n black and it looks good with my flat black paint. Cheap n effective.

something that might also be worth giving thought to is ceramic coating. if u can find a place in town or near where u live that does it. its comes in just about any color imaginable and its about 250-300 last time i checked on price to have a header blasted and coated. it is very durable and takes extremely high temps to cause it to flake.

I found out what I'm going to do I can get a header kit from laser works for 479 bucks. Looks good too so this way I can have a full system now clean headers prob a bit of sound change and I'm not breaking the bank or throwing away the slip on I have now.
