Hey guys!
just wanting to get some advice on a new fuel pump kit that I ordered.
I have a 2006 600rr, and I just ordered the one that came up without doubling checking that it was the correct one 🤦🏻‍♀️
So when I pulled the fuel pump out it was a plug connection on it, rather than 2 wires.
I’ll attach pics because my terminology isn’t great.

My question is, can I work around and use the new one at all? Or better of just getting the right part?

First, check the voltage and, especially, the current draw required by the new pump.

If these match the specs for the original pump, buy a socket to fit the plug on the harness and take the wires from the new socket to the pump - do not cut the plug from the harness.
