Default 20 amp fuse from the battery keeps blowing

So my rectifier went out and cooked my battery. Changed the battery rectifier and stator and now this fuse pops when I turn the key to the start position. Any idea what could causing this?

You probably have a direct short to earth, did any of the other wires smolder / melt? Pull the rectifier connector and check as that or the stator wiring would be my starting point.

If it did it's somewhere I can't see without pulling the tank off. I changed out the stator and rectifier and the wires and connectors looked fine
