What's the consensus on frame sliders/rear spools - where should I get them. What about cheap aftermarket levers?

Also, anyone race theirs? I used to race and was wondering if the stock suspension was adequate. I had it on VIR the other week - it was cold so I couldn't really ride hard (although I did and ended up low siding...dumba$$) but it felt like it was all over the place and wouldn't turn in - think the rebound dampening needs to be adjusted -

I don't want to sink a load into this bike because I can ride pretty much anything. If you think someone can set it up pretty well, I'll do that. I'm fairly fast - used to race WERA expert so...

Just seeing what people think. What about steering dampeners....brand - place to get? Every bike I've ever owened has been pre- setup so I've never had to put this stuff on...
