fork seals?

Default fork seals?

forks seam to be leaking oil on the left side? not sure if i am in need of new fork seals or what?

You do need seals of course. Expect to pay about a hundred bucks per fork. When mine was leaking I was told by the guys that do my service that you can take a piece of camera film and jam it in and scrape around the seal to slow the leak. I didn't try it, though.........just paid the man.

yup i kinda figured i needed new fork seals just wanted to make sure that there wasnt any other possibilty for the leak that i was not aware of. and i will just bring my bike to a professional because reaplcing fork seals sounds like a bitch. thanks

its not that hard,
but if you dont have a service manual, a front stand or the fork seal tool you are going to spend more in tools and equipment than the 200 bucks the dealer wants

of course if you are busting the seals doing wheelies then it might not hurt to invest in the proper tools so you can do it yourself
