Looks good....what do you think about the black (forget ehat called) plastic under the seat...kind breaks up the lines of the bike....flowing red and then blam...black and then back to red again.

 

Yeah I kinda like it as is too. IMO it looks kinda racey.

 

i think it looks good. to me different is better. you don't see that much. oh btw how did you get the black off the tank? isn't it clear coated on?

 

I'm sure you already know about heating your decals to get them off easier...but tank WAS a pain in the ***...took a PLASTIC scraper and went after it...gonna at least take some red and black paint to a lot of the hardware

 

if you want to see a bike with black undertail look at the 04 600 rr. they are black i my self do not like the black i like the way you have it

 

Looks great. I like it a lot.

 

The black looks good... you can't get away from it, the frame, seats and tires are black so you have a good mix.

To hit on the question that c45 asked, my tribal design is clear coated on the tank. I'd have to take my tank to a paint shop to change it, strip the clear coat, decal and then paint/clear again. You didn't have to do that with your tank?

 

thanks don. i think i will pass on taking the black off of mine. i have the silver and black. i think i'll just wait until i can afford a set of race skins and put a sweeta$$ paint job on them. thanks guys

I like the idea of painting the lower fairing that is now black, red. Think that looks nice.
