feeling the bike...

RE: feeling the bike...
Hey man, my girl is starting to ride the 600rr, and I'm steppin up to a 1k, (sorry, might not be a honda), but, anyways, she's only like 5'6' and like, a buck 25. I picked up some dogbones for the rear. Adjustabe from 1 to 3 inches. EASY to do!!! They even have a hole in them to set them back to stock height. 4 bolts!!!!! Then, if you have some buddy's that can adjust and set up your fronts for you, do that, if not, take it to your local shop, and see who RACES, (every shop has a racing employee!!!lol) and make friends!! LOL, I wasn't sure about adjusting the recoil or anything on my shocks, but a SUPER nice guy at one of my local shops HOOKED me up!!!! The bike overall rides the same as before. No more wheelies, but other than that...it's GREAT!!!!

My wife is will also be ridding my 05 600RR this season after I buy my 06 1000RR. She is 5'7" a little heavier then 125 but not much . I had her sitting on the bike a couple of nights ago and it looks like she should have no problems keeping it up. We are the same height but her inseam might be longer then mine. I will be installing frame sliders soon because if she drops the bike it will more then likely be at 0 MPH. Man, I can't wait for spring!

RE: feeling the bike...
i want a bike so bad right now.. it's been 65-70 degrees out, sunny.. such perfect right now, and damnit.. been checking cycletrader.com everyday but there's only one 600RR in my area and a 929 (which i wouldnt even be able to handle) i'm thinking about getting an extended swingarm, doesnt it lower the bike alittle? or i might just get the suspension lowered and stiffen the shock-coil.. (last bike i couldnt even hold 80lb girl with me) and i do actually get alot of friends that want to be on the b*tch seat, so owned haha..
