very good info and it is funny that the chain setup isn't metric..... what gives. and why are we (the US) too lazy to convert to the metric system?????

How bad does it effect your speedo, and how can you adjust it to read right again?

DONNYTHABRICK where you runnin 1/4 or 1/8th?
I run my 600RR at gainsville alot and due to me not having full leathers i run 11.7 at 120MPH
My boss runs 9's at 147 <busa> and ive never been able to even hang with the 05 GSXR 1000's
Cant wait to get my full leathers really wanna see what my 600 and my 93 900RR will run in the quarter

But to the reason im in this post. I went -1 now i need to find a way to strap my front end to keep from wheeling at the track anyone know a good site to find the caliper brackets?

i go to lebanon valley dragway. its on the east boarder of ny by ma. i live in ma so its a short trip. im at work now but ill look up my slips and post my times. and i dont have trouble keeping the front down when i want. well i dont have trouble keeping it out of a wheelie. the front comes up a hair. but thats the fastest you can go without having to slow or anything. i dont have leather pants (which is required if you go over 120) i went 128 and they never said anything. altho they kicked a busa off cause he had no pants and did 135. as for the 05 gsxr 1000s. i beat 2 and when i passed the line i had time to turn around and see them pass the line. the other 600s were even worse.

The only track near me (70 miles away) is an 1/8 mile affair. With crappy launches (can you say spin boys and girls?) I was laying down low 7's at 108mph. That was with stock gearing on a 1000RR. Dude on a turbo Busa was blowing my *** off the track but I was way ahead of the other 1000s. 600s weren't even close.

Ya, the one I went to celebrated its 50th year -- gonna close after this season[:'(] Seems all the fockers that moved into the area don't like the noise. Now there's nowhere close to race legally so the a-holes will get all upset when peeps race illegally on the street.
