Default Damn Headlights

Ok so here is the deal my headlights went out like 2 saturdays ago and I thought hey it is the bulbs, well I checked them and they are fine. Then I thought ok well it is the headlight relay, Nope a miss again. Well I am sure that it is the switch but before I do something drastic I wanted to ask if someone else has had this problem. oh and it is an 05.

Check the fuse..

Follow the wires..

Get a test light and check the light sockets to see if they are getting power..

There isnt a whole lot in the headlight circuit...

Well I can not remember where I read it, but someone posted a thread about a wire coming unsotered it the switch. Well that is what happend to me. So a quick soter job and fixed so I now have my baby back. So if you have you headlights go out the steps I went through are this

1. check your bulbs
2. check all wires in both switches <The one that went bad in my bike was in the RUN/STOP switch.
3. headlight relay
4. wiring

I put them in this order based on how much stuff you have to take off the get to the check points.

HAPPY RIDES
