I would imagine that screaming alot and dancing around the room like a man possessed would help a bit

Scuse the ignorant Colonial, but what's a yellowjacket ?
I had a wasp sting me in the ear - that was fffk..g sore - I've hated the little buggers ever since.

Killed one in my room last night about and inch and a half long, got in while i was on the roof smoking (it's pretty flat and I can just step on it from my window). We have those huge Japanese hornet looking things here in NC. Theyre real stupid so I've never been stung...yet, stingers are about half a centimeter long though, so I'm hoping I never do. I always see them at the sappy parts of trees during the day and just buzzing around and hitting stuff at night. Scary as hell when theyre near you.
Never heard of an 1 1/2" yellow jacket. Usually they are only 3/4". But they are tenacious and can sting more than once. Helluva wake up dude. Worst I ever got was a friggin black widow bite on my pinky. Drove myself to the DR ... if it had been 10 minutes later prolly woulda passed out. Swollen hand, elbow, shoulder and neck ... they took me in emergency right away and were shooting me full of shots within minutes of arrival. I must've looked **** poor to deserve all that. Driving home was the worst ... sore in my *** and both shoulders from all the shots and the reaction to the bite.
